Third Sector D&G
Third Sector Dumfries and Galloway helps voluntary organisations, charities, social enterprises, co-operatives, credit unions, mutuals, and volunteers work together to put their sector first. They represent the interests of the sector by lobbying opinion-formers and decision-makers in the Scottish Government, Dumfries and Galloway Council and NHS Dumfries and Galloway.
BDSDigital were approached to develop a new website for their services and the result is an extensive informational website highlighting numerous events, training opportunities and jobs in the region as well as resources and linked content relevant to the sector.
In addition to the website, BDSDigital were asked to develop DGLocator, an iOS and Android app that would help to promote the services provided by third sector organisations across the region. The app is a free download and comprises a searchable map of the region with pinned content that can be filtered by location or service category. A companion map DGResilience aims to assist with COVID-19-related assistance.
