Kirkcudbright Galleries

Kirkcudbright Galleries displays works by artists associated with the coastal town of Kirkcudbright from the early 19th century to the present. The Galleries, a renovation and conversion of the old Town Hall, is on four floors and shows permanent and touring exhibitions.

The Galleries needed to showcase work, tell the story of the building and encourage people to engage with events and activities through a dynamic website with a modern, fresh look that respected the building’s history. The site was designed with the colour lilac throughout to add sophistication and lightness. Images take centre stage, featuring the work of the artists, the beautiful gallery interiors and people enjoying the Kirkcudbright Galleries experience. The website includes a news page, an artist’s directory and a section for children to explore the artwork.
